Program Overview

The Hesperia Unified School District Kindergarten through Grade Twelve Independent Study Program offers the best of both worlds by providing two choices of alternative public education programs for families who choose to educate their children at home.

Under the supervision of the Hesperia Unified School District, the K-12 Independent Study Program opened in August of 2008. The growing number of families homeschooling in Hesperia and their request for educational guidance and assistance prompted the need for an implementation of the program.
